The Launceston Golf Club, Kings Meadows, will be the venue for the 2004/2005 fishing season trophy night at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start on the 30th July 2005. Invitation is open to all members and friends. A change of location and a change of the menu should make it an enjoyable night once again. This is a night to reflect on a game fishing season that was and to celebrate all anglers lucky enough to win prizes. The Club Champion award will be a close one as some very big Yellowfin Tuna were weighed in and it is most likely to be as little as a 200-500gram defeat for the Runner-Up. The raffle table will again be stocked so if you miss out on a trophy, you’ll still have a good chance of winning something on the night.
